Day 01 Delhi/Bagdogra to Paro & Transfer to Thimphu (90 minutes drive)

Sightseeing in Thimphu:
National Memorial Chorten – A spiritual monument built in memory of Bhutan’s Third King. Admire the beautiful paintings and sculptures depicting Buddhist teachings.

Day 02 Thimphu to Punakha via Dochula Pass

After breakfast, drive to Punakha, the former capital of Bhutan, crossing the stunning Dochula Pass (3,150 m). On clear days, you can enjoy panoramic Himalayan views along with the famous 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens.
Highlights in Punakha:
Chhimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple) – A sacred monastery dedicated to the Divine Madman, Lama Drukpa Kunley. Couples from around the world visit here to seek blessings for children.
Punakha Dzong – Known as the "Palace of Great Happiness," this majestic fortress stands at the confluence of the Pho Chu and Mo Chu rivers. It is one of Bhutan’s most beautiful dzongs, showcasing stunning woodwork and historical importance.

Day 03 Punakha to Paro

Today you will travel back to Paro Valley, a picturesque region surrounded by mountains, rivers, and ancient temples.
Places to Visit in Paro:
Rinpung Dzong (Paro Dzong) – A magnificent fortress-monastery known as the “Fortress of the Heap of Jewels.”
National Museum (Ta Dzong) – Explore Bhutan’s heritage through thangka paintings, ancient artifacts, coins, stamps, and religious relics.
Kyichu Lhakhang – One of the oldest temples in Bhutan, built in the 7th century. It is believed to bring peace and spiritual blessings.

Day 04 Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang Monastery)

Today is the highlight of your Bhutan tour – the hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang Monastery). Perched dramatically on a cliff 3,000 feet above the valley, this sacred monastery is one of Bhutan’s most famous landmarks.
According to legend, Guru Rinpoche flew here on the back of a tigress and meditated, making it one of the holiest sites in Bhutan. The trek takes around 4–5 hours round trip, rewarding you with stunning views and spiritual serenity.
Optional Experience:
Traditional Hot Stone Bath – Relax in a Bhutanese-style hot stone bath, believed to have healing properties for body and mind.

Day 05 Departure from Paro

RESERVATION TERMS

  • Confirmation of Tour Package is subject to the remittance of 50% of the total tour cost in advance and rest to be paid prior to the commencing of the tour so as to reconfirm all the arrangements on definite arrival basis.
  • Slight alterations in the accommodation may become unavoidable due to unavailability of rooms in mentioned hotels, but the accommodation so provided will be of the same class.
  • Child below 5 yrs stay complimentary.

CANCELLATION & REFUNDS

  • 30 days before the commencement of the tour: 10% of the tour cost will be levied.
  • 15 days before the commencement of the tour: 25% of the tour cost will be levied.
  • Less than 15 days before the commencement of the tour: 50% of the tour cost will be levied.
  • Less than 07 days before the commencement of the tour: 100% of the tour cost will be levied. No refund is entitled "for no-shows".

Important Note: SDF Fees for Children

Please be aware that our package cost includes only 50% of the Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) for children. However, if a child turns 12 years old during the trip, they will be liable to pay the full 100% SDF fee. Additionally, hotels in Bhutan consider children above 12 years old as adults and will not accommodate them as kids. In such cases, the child will be required to pay the full adult rate for accommodations and other services. To avoid any inconvenience, we recommend that you take this into consideration when planning your trip and make necessary arrangements accordingly. Child Policy Regarding SDF Fees and Accommodations:

  • Children under 5 years of age are exempt from paying accommodation and other services including SDF fees.
  • Children below 12 years old: 50% of the SDF is applicable
  • Children turning 12 years old during the trip: 100% SDF fee applicable
  • Children above 12 years old: Considered as adults and required to pay full adult rates for accommodations and other services
