Tawang tour Itinerary 6 days/5 nights
Day 01 Arrival in Guwahati drive to Bomdila 8 hr 340 km
Upon arrival at the airport or railway station, meet our representative and your exciting journey to Bomdila begins. Hop on board around 8 am for the scenic drive to Bomdila, approximately 7-8 hours away. Upon arrival, settle into your hotel and take some time to unwind. Consider exploring the local markets in the evening for a taste of vibrant local culture.

Day 02 Exploring Bomdila and Drive to Tawang 6 hr 180 km
After a hearty breakfast, kick-start your day with a visit to Bomdila Monastery, immersing yourself in the serene atmosphere. Then, it's time to hit the road again, heading towards Tawang. Along the way, don't miss the chance to marvel at the majestic Sela Pass and Sela Lake, and pay your respects at the Jaswant Garh war Memorial. Upon reaching Tawang, check in to your hotel and take rest.

Day 03 Tawang Sightseeing
Today is an exciting day of exploration in the picturesque town of Tawang.
Begin your journey with a visit to the Tawang Monastery, a stunning example of both spirituality and architectural brilliance. This important spiritual center, founded in the 17th century, is a must-see for anyone interested in Buddhism.
Next, make your way to the Tawang War Memorial, a poignant tribute to the brave soldiers who lost their lives in the 1962 Indo-China war. This moving monument is a reminder of the sacrifices that were made in order to secure a peaceful future for India. After paying your respects at the war memorial, continue your journey to Urgelling Gompa. This peaceful monastery is the birthplace of the sixth Dalai Lama and holds great significance in the Buddhist community. Later you can also visit Ani Gompa and Darjee Khandu Memorial.
Finally, make your way to the towering Buddha statue, an impressive symbol of peace and serenity. This majestic statue overlooks the town and is a must-see for anyone visiting Tawang.

Day 04 Tawang - Bumla Pass and Madhuri Lake

Located on the Indo-China border, this journey promises breathtaking vistas and a sense of awe. Next, delve into the beauty of Madhuri Lake, also known as Sungester Lake, along with PT Tso Lake and Nagula Lake. Explore the tranquil surroundings, have delicious food at the army canteen and capture stunning photographs to cherish forever. Return to Tawang in the evening and relax in the comfort of your hotel.

Day 05 Drive to Dirang 5 - 6 hr 140 km
As the sun rises, embark on a picturesque drive to Dirang after breakfast. En route, make a stop at the magnificent Nuranang Falls, cascading gracefully amidst lush greenery. Continue your journey to Dirang, where you'll visit the Thupsung Dhargye Ling Monastery, also known as TDL Monastery. You can also stop at Nyukmadung War Memorial and Dirang hot spring enroute. Check in to your hotel in the evening for a peaceful night's rest.

Day 06 Departure from Guwahati
After breakfast, bid farewell to the serene beauty of Dirang/Bomdila as you begin your journey back to Guwahati. It takes around 9-10 hours. Reflect on the cherished memories of your Tawang tour 6 days and the warmth of the people you encountered along the way. Upon reaching Guwahati, proceed to the airport or railway station for your onward journey, carrying with you the magic of the wonderful 6 days 5 night tour of Arunachal Pradesh.

RESERVATION TERMS
- Confirmation of Tour Package is subject to the remittance of 50% of the total tour cost in advance and rest to be paid prior to the commencing of the tour so as to reconfirm all the arrangements on definite arrival basis.
- Slight alterations in the accommodation may become unavoidable due to unavailability of rooms in mentioned hotels, but the accommodation so provided will be of the same class.
- Child below 5 yrs stay complimentary.
CANCELLATION & REFUNDS
- 30 days before the commencement of the tour: 10% of the tour cost will be levied.
- 15 days before the commencement of the tour: 25% of the tour cost will be levied.
- Less than 15 days before the commencement of the tour: 50% of the tour cost will be levied.
- Less than 07 days before the commencement of the tour: 100% of the tour cost will be levied. No refund is entitled "for no-shows".

Assam at its best
We went to 5 days Assam tour with Nexplore. We booked this trip last minute (~week prior) and were immediately helped with scheduling tours of the Kaziranga park and major attractions. Anushila picked us up at the airport in the most welcoming way. They adjusted the tour for our requests to see a tea plantation and the city where most silk production occurs, Sualkuchi. It was great all around
My son and I had a great wildlife trip in Northeast India organized by Nexplore Travel. In Assam we went to four National Parks. We saw elephants, rhinos, water buffalo, monkeys etc. It was great all around. Our driver was perfect. Flawless travel. Places we stayed were excellent and the food was incredible.I encountered some trouble myself health wise and these guys helped me to solve that problem.
