It is a several million years old massive dome shaped rock of granite which rise at an elevation of about 5400 ft above sea level. The rock can be accessed from the northern and eastern flanks. It is believed that the rock possesses some sort of magnetic field, so no one will fall from the slope. The road to Kyllang rock is pleasant and scenic. In its southern site, enormous detached blocks of rock are located and dense forests of age-old red, white rhododendron trees and oaks trees are found. Weinia Falls

Plunging from a height of nearly a thousand feet, Weinia Falls is among the largest and tallest waterfalls in Meghalaya. Jakrem
Jakrem Hot spring is a beautiful location famous for the old hot water spring of sulfur water. Situated at a distance of 64km from Shillong on the Shillong-Mawkyrwat road it is a stunning destination near Nongstoin. These hot springs are believed to have medicinal properties. Bathing compartments are available in the spring for the public. It is a popular picnic spot for local and tourist and scenic stopover on the way to Mawsynram. The location has gradually evolved into a health resort that attracts visitors from all over the world who come to soak in the hot spring.
Wahrilang view point
Mawranglang is a beautiful valley located in the South West Khasi Hills District of Meghalaya 5 kilometers away from Mawkyrwat. You can stop at Wahrilang view point and enjoy the scenic beauty of the valley closely. It is a beautiful mountain pick on the Nongstoin-Mawkyrwat road.

Pamphyrnai lake
Situated around 10 km from Nongstoin at Ksehkohlong it is a picturesque lake surrounded by lush green hills. Nestled between hillocks, the total area of the lake is about 2.2 hectares which is about three times the size of Wards Lake and the average depth is about 12 ft. Annual angling completion is held here to promote tourism.
