Day 1:Guwahati - Shillong and local sightseeing (100km/2.5 hr.)

Our 4 days Shillong travel package starts once you arrive at Guwahati airport/railway station. Our representative will meet you and welcome to Meghalaya. After that start driving towards Shillong. In between stops at Umiam Lake(also famously known as Barapani Lake), where you can opt to enjoy boating and lakeside water sports.
Upon reaching Shillong you can visit the famous Don Bosco Museum, Lady Hydari Park and Ward’s Lake where you can enjoy a boat ride. In the evening visit Shillong Cathedral and Police Bazar Market. Later check in at a hotel and spend the night comfortably.

Please note: If any tourist attractions are closed on the scheduled day of visit, we will not be able to accommodate the visit on an alternative day due to logistical constraints. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this regard.

Day 2:Local sightseeing in Cherrapunji

After a hearty breakfast at your hotel, we will check out and embark on a breathtaking road trip toward Cherrapunji (historically known as Sohra), widely celebrated as one of the wettest and most beautiful places on Earth. Our mountain drive winds along stunning valleys and dramatic cloud formations. Our first major stop is the iconic 3-tier cascade of Elephant Falls, followed by a scenic halt at the panoramic Mawkdok Dympep Valley Viewpoint.

Upon entering Cherrapunji, check into your resort and take a brief moment to unwind before heading out to witness the spectacular Nohkalikai Falls, which stands proudly as the tallest single-plunge waterfall in India at an altitude of 340 meters. From there, we will explore the cascading streams of Seven Sisters Falls and the lush views at the local Eco Park. We wrap up our daytime adventure by stepping into the dramatic limestone passages, prehistoric fossils, and ancient stalactite formations inside the mystical Mawsmai Cave and Arwah Cave. Spend a peaceful evening relaxing in your Cherrapunji hotel.

Day 3: Cherrapunji to Mawlynnong village and Dawki

On day 3 of our Shillong Meghalaya tour we will visit two thrilling destinations in Meghalaya, Mawlynnong village and Dawki. Mawlynnong village is acclaimed as Asia's cleanest village. On reaching the village you can explore the village on foot and go trekking in the 300-year-old Riwai Single Decker Living Root Bridge located nearby. After that, proceed to Dawki and explore the Bangladesh border. Enroute relish a splendid view of Dawki river and enjoy boating in the crystal clear water. Spend the night in a homestay/camp at Mawlynnong /Dawki.

Day 4:Mawlynnong village to Guwahati (172 km/5.5 hour)

Today marks the final day of your 4-day long-weekend escape. After checking out from your accommodation, our dedicated private car drives you back toward the plains of Assam. And our driver will drop your group off seamlessly at the Guwahati Railway Station or right outside the departure terminal at the Guwahati Airport (GAU) for your safe journey home, concluding your unforgettable 4 Days / 3 Nights Meghalaya holiday circuit.
