Meghalaya tour itinerary 4 days
Day 1:Guwahati - Shillong and local sightseeing (100km/2.5 hr.)
Our 4 days Shillong travel package starts once you arrive at Guwahati airport/railway station. Our representative will meet you and welcome to Meghalaya. After that start driving towards Shillong. In between stops at Umiam Lake. upon reaching Shillong you can visit the famous Don Bosco Museum, Lady Hydari Park and Ward’s Lake where you can enjoy a boat ride. In the evening visit Shillong Cathedral and Police Bazar Market. Later check in at a hotel and spend the night comfortably.
Please note: If any tourist attractions are closed on the scheduled day of visit, we will not be able to accommodate the visit on an alternative day due to logistical constraints. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this regard.

Day 2:Local sightseeing in Cherrapunji
Today morning after breakfast drive to Cherrapunji also known as Sohra. On reaching check-in at a hotel/resort. After some rest proceed with your tour in Cherrapunji.
Cherrapunji is famous for its abundant rainfall, lush green landscapes, and breathtaking waterfalls, Cherrapunji is a paradise for nature lovers. Today we will explore the famous waterfalls and caves in Cherrapunji. In the evening return to hotel and spend the night at rest.

Night Stay at Cherrapunji
Day 3: Cherrapunji to Mawlynnong village and Dawki
On day 3 of our Shillong Meghalaya tour we will visit two thrilling destinations in Meghalaya, Mawlynnong village and Dawki. Mawlynnong village is acclaimed as Asia's cleanest village. On reaching the village you can explore the village on foot and go trekking in the Single Decker Living Root Bridge located nearby. After that, proceed to Dawki and explore the Bangladesh border. Enroute relish a splendid view of Dawki river and enjoy boating in the crystal clear Umanghat River. Spend the night in a homestay/camp at Mawlynnong /Dawki.

Night Stay at Mawlynnong/ Dawki
Day 4:Mawlynnong village to Guwahati (172 km/5.5 hour)
Today is the last day of your Meghalaya tour. After checkout from hotel, we return to Guwahati. If time permits you can also visit Kamakhya Mata Temple in Guwahati. After that, you will be dropped at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey.

Reservation Terms
- Confirmation of the tour Package is subject to the remittance of 50% of the total tour cost in advance and the rest to be paid prior to the commencing of the tour so as to reconfirm all the arrangements on a definite arrival basis.
- Slight alterations in the accommodation may become unavoidable due to the unavailability of rooms in the mentioned hotels, but the accommodation so provided will be of the same class.

- 30 days before the commencement of the tour: 10% of the tour cost will be levied.
- 15 days before the commencement of the tour: 25% of the tour cost will be levied.
- Less than 15 days before the commencement of the tour: 50% of the tour cost will be levied.
- Less than 07 days before the commencement of the tour: 100% of the tour cost will be levied. No refund is entitled "for no-shows".

Assam at its best
We went to 5 days Assam tour with Nexplore. We booked this trip last minute (~week prior) and were immediately helped with scheduling tours of the Kaziranga park and major attractions. Anushila picked us up at the airport in the most welcoming way. They adjusted the tour for our requests to see a tea plantation and the city where most silk production occurs, Sualkuchi. It was great all around
My son and I had a great wildlife trip in Northeast India organized by Nexplore Travel. In Assam we went to four National Parks. We saw elephants, rhinos, water buffalo, monkeys etc. It was great all around. Our driver was perfect. Flawless travel. Places we stayed were excellent and the food was incredible.I encountered some trouble myself health wise and these guys helped me to solve that problem.
