Day 01 Arrival in Guwahati - drive to Bomdila (340 km | 8-9 Hours)
On arrival at Guwahati airport/railway station start our representative will greet you and start our journey to Bomdila, a beautiful hill town in Arunachal Pradesh. Enjoy a scenic drive through lush valleys, winding roads, and serene landscapes. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and refresh yourself.

Day 02 Bomdila - Tawang: Sela Pass and Sela Lake enroute (180 km | 6 Hours)
After breakfast, visit Gontse Rabgyaling Monastery (Bomdila Monastery), a peaceful retreat with stunning views of the Himalayas. Explore the Handicraft Center, where local artisans showcase their exquisite handwoven carpets and traditional crafts.
Later continue your journey towards Tawang, a mesmerizing destination nestled in the Eastern Himalayas.

Day 03 Tawang Sightseeing : Monastery, culture and more
Start your day with breakfast before exploring Tawang’s iconic landmarks. Visit the Tawang Monastery, the largest monastery in India and the second-largest in the world, known for its ancient Buddhist scriptures and stunning architecture. Next, pay homage at the Tawang War Memorial, dedicated to the Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives in 1962. Head to Buddha Park, where a massive golden Buddha statue overlooks the valley, offering a peaceful retreat. Today, embark on an adventurous excursion to Bumla Pass (15,200 ft), located on the Indo-China border. En route, visit Madhuri Lake (Sangetsar Lake), a breathtaking high-altitude lake made famous by the Bollywood movie Koyla. Day 05 Drive to Dirang : Jang waterfall and majestic Chu valley visit (140 km | 5 - 6 Hours)
After breakfast, bid farewell to Tawang and begin your journey to Dirang, a beautiful town in Arunachal Pradesh. En route, visit the stunning Jang Waterfall (Nuranang Falls), a powerful 100-meter-high waterfall cascading down rocky cliffs.
Post that we take Sela Tunnel route and visit Chug Valley, a hidden gem with mesmerizing landscapes. You will get a chance to explore terraced landscapes, traditional Monpa villages and unique cultural experiences. After that continue your journey to Dirang. After that take a short drive to Sangti Valley, one of the most picturesque destinations in Arunachal Pradesh. Known for its lush green landscapes, serene meadows, fruit orchards, and the sight of migratory black-necked cranes in winter, this valley is a paradise for nature lovers. Day 07 Sangti Valley – Shergaon (80 Km | 2 Hours)

Assam at its best
We went to 5 days Assam tour with Nexplore. We booked this trip last minute (~week prior) and were immediately helped with scheduling tours of the Kaziranga park and major attractions. Anushila picked us up at the airport in the most welcoming way. They adjusted the tour for our requests to see a tea plantation and the city where most silk production occurs, Sualkuchi. It was great all around
My son and I had a great wildlife trip in Northeast India organized by Nexplore Travel. In Assam we went to four National Parks. We saw elephants, rhinos, water buffalo, monkeys etc. It was great all around. Our driver was perfect. Flawless travel. Places we stayed were excellent and the food was incredible.I encountered some trouble myself health wise and these guys helped me to solve that problem. We would definitely come back and see more of the Northeast India.
