Welcome to Bhutan – the Land of the Thunder Dragon. As your flight lands at Paro International Airport, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the snow-capped Himalayas, including Mt. Jumolhari and Jichu Drake Peaks. The crisp mountain air instantly sets the mood for your Bhutan holiday.
After completing immigration formalities, our representative will greet you and drive you to Thimphu, Bhutan’s charming capital city. Thimphu beautifully blends tradition with modernity and is home to the Royal Family, monasteries, dzongs, nunneries, markets, and cultural centers.

National Memorial Chorten – A sacred stupa built in memory of the Third King, known for its beautiful murals and spiritual ambiance.
Buddha Dordenma (Buddha Point) – One of the largest statues of Buddha in the world, overlooking Thimphu Valley with spectacular panoramic views.

Institute of Zorig Chusum (School of Arts & Crafts) – Watch students learning Bhutan’s 13 traditional arts including thangka painting and wood carving.
Wangditse Day Hike - Wangditse is a moderate hike with great views which start from the radio tower. Enjoy stunnong view of south Thimphu from here. Wangditse Goemba was founded in 1750
by the attendants of Bhutan's 8th Desi, Yeshey Rabgye.
Centenary Farmers’ Market – The largest weekend market in Bhutan where villagers sell local produce, handicrafts, and textiles.
Tashichho Dzong – The majestic “Fortress of the Glorious Religion,” home to the King’s office and central monastic body. It was erected in 1641
and rebuilt by King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck in the 1960s.
Motithang Takin Preserve – Home to Bhutan’s rare national animal, the Takin.

After breakfast, drive towards Punakha, the ancient capital of Bhutan. En route, stop at Dochula Pass (3,150 m), famous for its 108 chortens and 360° views of the Himalayas.

Dochula Pass & Druk Wangyal Chortens – A beautiful spiritual stop surrounded by fluttering prayer flags.
Chhimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple) – Dedicated to Lama Drukpa Kunley, also known as the Divine Madman, this temple is a pilgrimage site for couples seeking blessings.
Punakha Dzong – The most stunning fortress in Bhutan, located at the confluence of Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. It is one of Bhutan's oldest, largest and most striking fortified monasteries.

Today, drive to the breathtaking Phobjikha Valley, famous for being the winter home of the endangered Black-Necked Cranes (Nov–March).
Phobjikha Valley Highlights:
Gangtey Goempa – Overlooking the Phobjikha valley is the Gangtey Goempa. This is an old monastery that datesback to 17th, the largest Nyingma monastery in western Bhutan.
Gangtey Nature Trail – A scenic 90-minute hike through meadows, pine forests, and villages. It startsfrom the Mani stone wall to the north of the Gangteng Gonpa and ends in Khewa Lhakhang.
Black-Necked Crane Information Centre – Learn about these rare migratory birds and the valley’s rich ecosystem at Black-Necked Crane Information Centre. Bhutan is home to around six hundred black-necked cranes with Phobjikha being one of the popular places that the birds migrate to in the winter months from the Tibetan plateau. The elegant birds can be observed from early November to an end of March.

Drive back to Paro Valley, one of the most beautiful valleys in Bhutan, home to ancient monasteries and Bhutan’s most famous landmarks.
Paro Dzong (Rinpung Dzong) – The “Fortress of a Heap of Jewels,” linked by a traditional cantilever bridge.
National Museum (Ta Dzong) – A former watchtower now displaying artifacts, thangka paintings, and cultural treasures.
Kyichu Lhakhang – One of Bhutan’s oldest temples, built in the 7th century, radiating peace and spiritual energy.
Night Stay in PAro
On the 6th of the Bhutan tour go for hiking to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery also known as Taktsang monastery. Perched on a cliff at 3,000 m, it is one of Bhutan’s most sacred pilgrimage sites. Legend says Guru Rinpoche flew here on the back of a tigress and meditated in a cave.
If the time permits, drive further north to visit another symbolic ruined Dzong – A historic fortress recently restored to honor Bhutan’s heritage. Apart from this you cam visit Paro Drukgyel Dzong considered as the most beautiful and famous archaeological sites in Bhutan, is situated on a ridge in the upper Paro valley.
After that visit Traditional Hot Stone Bath – Relax with a rejuvenating herbal bath, a perfect way to end your trip. The cost is approximately USD 25/- per person. (Not included in the packages)

However, if a child turns 12 years old during the trip, they will be liable to pay the full 100% SDF fee. Additionally, hotels in Bhutan consider children above 12 years old as adults and will not accommodate them as kids.
