Day 01 Arrival in Guwahati drive to Kaziranga     4.5 hr   204 km

Day 02 Elephant and Jeep Safari at Kaziranga National Park

Day 03 Transfer to Majuli Island    4 - 5 hr   140 km

    Day 08 Trip to Tai Phake Village

    Tai Phake Village | Assam package tour Today you will visit one of the prominent village of Assam Tai Phake Village. This village is home to the Tai Phake community which are originated from Myanmar(Burma) in the 18th century, bringing with them their unique cultural heritage and Buddhist practices.

Mon Village is also a gateway to discovering the living heritage of the Konyak tribe, renowned for their headhunting history and intricate craftsmanship.

    Day 10 Visit Longwa Village

    Longwa Village After breakfast, we will head to Longwa village, which is located 40km away (2 hrs). This village straddles the border of India and Myanmar, with the Chief's (Angh) house passes through the international border. Upon arrival, we can visit the Angh's house to see the amazing wood artifacts, take photographs, and admire other decorative items. We can also purchase handmade jewelry and clothing. Later, we can explore the village, visit the village church, meet the villagers, and enjoy the view of Myanmar from the hilltop and return back to Mon town.

    • Significance: One of the most famous Konyak villages, known for its headhunting history.
    Activities:
    • Meet the Konyak Headhunters, interact with the Angh (Chief) and their family.
    • Walk around the village and observe traditional thatched roof houses and houses decorated with the skulls of animals.
    • See the antique artifacts, wooden sculptures and shop local jewellery.

    Day 11 Visit Hongphoi Village

    Hongphoi Village Early morning after breakfast visit Hongphoi Village which is a traditional Konyak village. It is best place to observe the tradition lifestyle of Naga tribes and meet the last few of tattooed headhunters, visit the Morung and walk around the village. Later if time permit visit some other Konyak villages and return to Mon.

    Hongphoi Village:

    • Significance: Prominent village of majority of Konyak headhunters.
    • Activities: Meet the Angh(Chief), his wife and other headhunters and have some chit chat.

    Day 12 Mon to Jorhat     6 - 7 hr   142 km

This village also hold importance during ww-II. The village has a history of resistance against British colonial rule, during the Battle of Khonoma in 1879.

    RESERVATION TERMS

    • Confirmation of Tour Package is subject to the remittance of 50% of the total tour cost in advance and rest to be paid prior to the commencing of the tour so as to reconfirm all the arrangements on definite arrival basis.
    • Slight alterations in the accommodation may become unavoidable due to unavailability of rooms in mentioned hotels, but the accommodation so provided will be of the same class.

    CANCELLATION & REFUNDS

    • 30 days before the commencement of the tour: 10% of the tour cost will be levied.
    • 15 days before the commencement of the tour: 25% of the tour cost will be levied.
    • Less than 15 days before the commencement of the tour: 50% of the tour cost will be levied.
    • Less than 07 days before the commencement of the tour: 100% of the tour cost will be levied. No refund is entitled "for no-shows".
    • Non-refundable of Rs. 4,500/ per person as booking amount.
