Itinerary
Day 01 Bagdogra - Gangtok
On arrival at NJP railway station or Bagdogra airport, our representatives will greet and drive to Gangtok (135 km/04-05 hrs). Our 5 days 4 night North Sikkim package tour start here. After checking in the hotel and some time for leisure, continue with local sightseeing at Gangtok. Gangtok city tour also includes trips to Do Drul Chorten Stupa, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology and enjoy the ropeway ride. Evening leisurely stroll in the MG Marg market and relish local cuisine and buy souvenir and woolen cloths.
Overnight stay at Gangtok
Day 02 Gangtok - Lachen via Chungthang.
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and proceed to Lachen in the morning hours. It is around 125 km drive from Gangtok which generally takes 7 hrs to cover.
Enjoy the beautiful mountain roads and the view of the Singhik viewpoint, Butterfly falls, Naga falls and other thrilling falls. You can spend the evening at leisure or visit Lachen Monastery and Handicraft Center.
Lachen: North Sikkim tour usually begins in Lachen, a picturesque village known for its pristine beauty. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains and dotted with charming cottages, Lachen serves as a base for exploring the stunning Gurudongmar Lake. The small place is surrounded by snow-capped peaks and beautiful alpine meadows and meandering Teesta River.

Day 03 Lachen to Gurudongmar and halt at Lachung
Today we get up early and proceed to Gurudongmar lake in the wee hours of the morning which takes around 5 hours. Gurudongmar Lake is one of the highest altitude lakes in the world, only some 5 kilometers south of Chinese border. It is surrounded by snow-covered mountains. It is believed to be a holy place by the locals. Have our breakfast at Thangu valley and proceed to Gurudongmar Lake which takes further 2 hours.
On return, we will enjoy the beauty of Chopta Valley. It offers a breathtaking view of alpine valley of frozen rivers. You can also visit Kala patthar at an extra cost.
After returning check out from Lachen and drive further to Lachung for night stay. Enroute stop by Bhim-nala Waterfalls.
*Gurudongmar Lake is subjected to the availability of PAP and with extra costing. Children below 8 years are not allowed to visit this lake. Precaution is required to visit this lake since it stands at very high altitude. Senior citizens also face difficulty in breathtaking due to high altitude at this place.

Day 04 Lachung- Yumthang Valley- Gangtok
Lachung: Lachung is another enchanting village in North Sikkim famous for its picturesque landscapes, waterfalls, and hot springs. The most popular attraction here is the Yumthang Valley, also known as the Valley of Flowers. During spring, the valley transforms into a kaleidoscope of colors as numerous alpine flowers bloom, creating a breathtaking sight.
Early morning, make your way up to Yumthang Valley, the valley of flowers. Yumthang valley sits right above the tree line and is the most beautiful valley located 28 km away from Lachung. After enjoying the valley views proceed to the zero point located close to Tibet Border. The valley is covered with snow from January to March & with rhododendrons forest from April to May.
At first we take a small tea break at Yumthang point and rent woolen cloth and boot etc and then proceed to Yumthang valley and Zero Point. (Additional cost is required to visit Zero Point)
Enroute we also stop at Sulphur Hot Spring.
After a full day excursion get back to Gangtok (140 km) and take rest in your hotel.

Day 5 Gangtok- Departure from Bagdogra
This will be your last day with us. Morning after breakfast our representative will take you to the Bagdogra airport or NJP railway station for the onward journey.

- Additional adventurous activities.
- Zero Point/Yume Samdong, Kala Patthar, Katao will cost extra. Rs. 3000 - Rs. 4000 directly payable to driver on the spot.
- Nathula pass permit costs of Rs. 4000 - 5000 are extra cost and are subject to availability of Government passes.
- Normal Vehicle at Gangtok are not authorized to enter city areas so will pick up and drop at the taxi stand so client will have to hire local taxis to and fro from the hotel and to be borne by the client and is directly payable.
- Additional sightseeing or extra usage of vehicle, other than mentioned in the itinerary.

RESERVATION TERMS
- Confirmation of Tour Package is subject to the remittance of 50% of the total tour cost in advance and rest to be paid prior to the commencing of the tour so as to reconfirm all the arrangements on definite arrival basis.
- Slight alterations in the accommodation may become unavoidable due to unavailability of rooms in mentioned hotels, but the accommodation so provided will be of the same class.
- Child below 5 yrs stays complimentary.
CANCELLATION & REFUNDS
- 30 days before the commencement of the tour: 10% of the tour cost will be levied.
- 15 days before the commencement of the tour: 25% of the tour cost will be levied.
- Less than 15 days before the commencement of the tour: 50% of the tour cost will be levied.
- Less than 07 days before the commencement of the tour: 100% of the tour cost will be levied. No refund is entitled "for no-shows".

Assam at its best
We went to 5 days Assam tour with Nexplore. We booked this trip last minute (~week prior) and were immediately helped with scheduling tours of the Kaziranga park and major attractions. Anushila picked us up at the airport in the most welcoming way. They adjusted the tour for our requests to see a tea plantation and the city where most silk production occurs, Sualkuchi. It was great all around
My son and I had a great wildlife trip in Northeast India organized by Nexplore Travel. In Assam we went to four National Parks. We saw elephants, rhinos, water buffalo, monkeys etc. It was great all around. Our driver was perfect. Flawless travel. Places we stayed were excellent and the food was incredible.I encountered some trouble myself health wise and these guys helped me to solve that problem.
