At a distance of 55 kms from Agartala is the Tripurasundari Temple. It is one the Shakti Peethas and is the holiest place in the city. You must also visit the Ujjayanta Palace. It is built in Indo-Greek fashion and has musical fountains and beautiful lighting. It has the State Museum which gives an insight into the culture and tradition of Tripura.

The place called Unakoti which means one less for crore which is located 175 kms from Agartala has plenty of lovely stone idols. The Neermahal Palace is located in the centre of the Rudrasagar lake. It has beautiful architecture. One can also see lots of migratory birds at the lake.

The Sipahijala Wildlife Sanctuary where you can see lovely wildlife. The place has a zoo, lake and a botanical garden. The archaeological site Pilak is close to Agartala where you can see several Buddhists and Hindu sculptures.

The Jampui hills are 240 kms from Agartala. Here you can see beautiful orchids and oranges. Beautiful views can be seen from this hill range. Tourists also enjoy the ropeway here.
