Guwahati Shillong Kaziranga tour Itinerary 8 days
Day 01 Arrival at Guwahati
Today is the first day of your 8 days Guwahati Shillong Cherrapunji tour packages. Our representative will receive you at Guwahati Airport/Railway station and assist you to your hotel.
After freshening up start your sightseeing with a visit to Kamakhya Temple. After that visit the state museum and get a glimpse of the state's culturally rich history, crafts, traditions, anthropology etc. Post that visit Brahmaputra River Heritage Center. In the evening enjoying a sunset cruise in the mighty Brahmaputra.
Alternatively, you can choose Assam State Zoo, Sankardev Kalakshetra and Balaji temple.

Night Stay in Guwahati
Day 02 Guwahati to Kaziranga National park (220Km/4hrs)
Wake up early morning have your breakfast and then drive to Kaziranga National Park.
Drive through the aromatic tea gardens and greenery and enjoy the nature's richness. It takes around 5 hr to reach Kaziranga from Guwahati.
On reaching check-in at your resort and relax for the night.

Day 03 Sight-seeing in Kaziranga
Wake up early in the morning and go for a thrilling Elephant Safari in the park.
After that have your breakfast at hotel and take some rest and visit Kaziranga Orchid and Biodiversity park .
In the afternoon at around 2 pm go for a Jeep Safari in the western range of the park and watch out for the range of exotic flora and fauna especially the one-horned rhinos, hog deer, wild elephants, royal bengal tiger etc.
After an exciting day relax for the night enjoying some local cuisines.

Night Stay in Kaziranga
Day 04 Kaziranga- Shillong(278km/8hrs)
Today after having breakfast at hotel/resort, start our journey to Shillong from Kaziranga by road amidst the amazingly beautiful landscapes. Enroute stop at the Barapani lake enjoy a cup of tea and indulge in boating and embrace the beauty of nature.
After reaching Shillong check in your hotel. Spend the evening at rest or go for a walk in a nearing market.

Day 05 Shillong Sightseeing
On day 5 of Shillong Guwahati Kaziranga tour wake up early morning and after breakfast start your day local visit in the Shillong city.
Today we go for some local explorations to the sites like the Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians and relish its amazing architecture, Ward's Lake, a pretty artificial lake surrounded by gardens. Later we explore Elephant Falls, Sacred Groves in Mawphlang which has been preserved by its natives since ancient times.
In the evening you can go for shopping in the Police Bazaar and treat yourself with some local handicrafts.

Day 06 Shillong to Cherrapunji (54km/2hrs)
Today morning after enjoying breakfast at hotel we set off for the scenic town, Cherrapunji, well known for receiving the highest rainfall in the country which also treats you with some amazing scenery. Here the temperature is lower than Shillong and mostly covered with fog in the monsoon and summer.
Start your tour with a thrilling experience by exploring the Mawsmai Cave and get amazed by this mother nature's creation. Then get mesmerized by the beauty of the breathtaking falls of Nohkalikai Falls and the Seven Sisters Falls. These waterfalls have their legends and watching them is not only a feast to the eye but also gives peace to the mind. By end of the day visit the Eco Park which gives you the view of the majestic hills and the gorgeous falls.

Night Stay in Cherrapunji
Day 07 Cherrapunji to Mawlynnong Village(81km/3hrs) and Dawki
After breakfast at the resort, set off for Mawlynnong Village, renowned as the cleanest village in Asia. Take a leisurely walk through the village and climb the Sky Walk for panoramic views of not just the village but also the vast Bangladesh plains. Following that, embark on a short trek to the famous Living Root Bridge in Riwai village, a marvel of natural engineering.
Next, head to Dawki, a serene town on the banks of the Umngot River. Here, enjoy a peaceful boat ride in the crystal-clear waters of Umngot river surrounded by breathtaking natural scenery. Return to Shillong around 3-4 pm to rest for the night.

Day 08 Shillong - Guwahati(Departure)
Today is the last date of our Guwahati Shillong Meghalaya tour package. After having your breakfast return to Guwahati which takes around 3 - 3.5 hr. Our representative will assist you to Guwahati Airport/ Railway station as per your convenience. We hope you have a wonderful experience which you would endure for eternity.

- Less than 07 days before the commencement of the tour: 100% of the tour cost will be levied. No refund is entitled "for no-shows".

We went to 5 days Assam tour with Nexplore. We booked this trip last minute (~week prior) and were immediately helped with scheduling tours of the Kaziranga park and major attractions. It was great all around
My son and I had a great wildlife trip in Northeast India organized by Nexplore Travel. In Assam we went to four National Parks. We saw elephants, rhinos, water buffalo, monkeys etc. It was great all around. Our driver was perfect. Flawless travel. Places we stayed were excellent and the food was incredible.I encountered some trouble myself health wise and these guys helped me to solve that problem.
