Itinerary
- Start your one-day Guwahati tour with a visit to the Kamakhya Temple, one of the most revered Shakti Peethas in India. Perched atop the Nilachal Hill, this temple is dedicated to Goddess Kamakhya and is a hub for Hindu pilgrims. Start early at around 7:00 - 8:00 to avoid long queue in the temple.
Duration: 1-2 hours (approx.) - After that immerse yourself in the rich history and culture of Assam at the Assam State Museum. The museum houses an impressive collection of artifacts, sculptures, and manuscripts that depict the state's history from ancient times to the colonial era. It's a must-visit for history buffs.

Note: The Museum is open to public from 10 A.M to 5 P.M on all days except Monday, 2nd and 4th Saturday of a month andGovt. holidays.
Alternatively, you can visit the Peacock Island, located in the middle of the Brahmaputra River. Take a short ferry ride to the island and visit the ancient Umananda Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Duration: 2-3 hours (approx.) - Post that enjoy ropeway ride in the Brahmaputra river. During the ride you can enjoy impressive aerial view of the mighty Brahmaputra river.
Ropeway remains closed on the 2nd & 4th Thursday of every month. - After that visit Assam State Zoo cum Botanical Garden which is spread across an area of 432 acre and spot various animals and reptiles. It also facilitate a beautiful children park.
Duration: 2 hour (approx.)
Note: The botanical garden is closed every Friday - End your one-day Guwahati tour with a relaxing cruise on the Brahmaputra River. The evening cruise offers stunning views of the sunset, the city skyline, and the serene river.
Timing: 5pm - 6pm (Check-in 4:30 pm)
Duration: 1:30 hours - After a splendid river cruising in the evening we drop you at your hotel and conclude this wonderful tour.

Amazing Trip with Nexplore Travel

Beautiful, flexible and fun
We went to 5 days Assam tour with Nexplore. We booked this trip last minute (~week prior) and were immediately helped with scheduling tours of the Kaziranga park and major attractions. Anushila picked us up at the airport in the most welcoming way. They adjusted the tour for our requests to see a tea plantation and the city where most silk production occurs, Sualkuchi. Both of these were excellent additions and allowed us to witness the strength and beauty in Assamese craft. It was great all around
My son and I had a great wildlife trip in Northeast India organized by Nexplore Travel. In Assam we went to four National Parks. We saw elephants, rhinos, water buffalo, monkeys etc. It was great all around. Our driver was perfect.
Flawless travel. Places we stayed were excellent and the food was incredible.
I encountered some trouble myself health wise and these guys helped me to solve that problem. We would definitely come back and see more of the Northeast India.

Our trip was great
We have just returned from a 7 days family trip to Assam Meghalaya with Nexplore Travel. As we have two kids we were worried for them initially but our trip was perfect. wonderful trip
My husband and I went on an offbeat tour in Meghalaya for 5 days. We visited the Double Decker root bridge, Phe Phe falls, Krang Shuri falls, Shnongpdeng village, and many other hidden waterfalls in Cherrapunji. We had a great time!
