  • Begin your one-day Guwahati tour with a visit to the iconic Kamakhya Temple, one of India's most revered Shakti Peethas. Located atop the Nilachal Hill, this sacred temple is dedicated to Goddess Kamakhya and attracts countless Hindu pilgrims. To avoid long queues, it’s best to start early, between 7:00 and 8:00 AM.
    After your spiritual experience at Kamakhya, head to the nearby Bhubaneswari Temple. From here, you can enjoy stunning panoramic views of Guwahati city and the mighty Brahmaputra River, adding a serene touch to your visit.
  • After that you can visit the Peacock Island, located in the middle of the Brahmaputra River. Take a short ferry ride to the island and visit the ancient Umananda Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple, built by the Ahom King Gadadhar Singha in 1694, offers a peaceful setting for devotees and travelers alike.
  • After visit another ancient temple Navagraha, it is dedicated to the nine celestial bodies or planets (Navagrahas) in Hindu astrology. Built during the reign of the Ahom rulers in the 18th century, the temple houses nine Shivalingams, each representing one of the nine planets.
  • After that visit Assam State Zoo cum Botanical Garden which is spread across an area of 432 acre and spot various animals and reptiles. It also facilitate a beautiful children park.
