By Road: Mawlynnong village is 90 km away from Shillong city, the capital of Meghalaya. Shared taxi and private cabs are available from Shillong city to reach Mawlynnong village.

Shared taxi service is available from Khasi Hills Sumo stand located near Bara Bazaar market. From there it takes around 2 hours to reach the village.
