Northeast India has always intrigued millions with its overwhelming greeneries and stunning landscapes. So, with an abundance of leisure time in my hand\u00a0 I decided to explore Kaziranga from the city of Guwahati<\/strong>.\u00a0 The enigma of Kaziranga pulled me more which is known all over the world as the land of one-horned rhinoceros.<\/p>\n

In this post, I will write in detail about how to spend a day enjoying every moment in Kaziranga National Park<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Mesmerizing Elephant Safari at Kaziranga National Park packed with a raw energy <\/strong><\/h3>\n

When we are thinking of visiting Kaziranga we ensure to experience an elephant ride for sure. So we headed to Kaziranga in the afternoon of the first day and ensure our chance to go on a ride. It takes around five hours to reach Kaziranga. The moment we step outside, we felt like we were in a wonderland full of nature\u2019s bounty.<\/p>\n

On reaching the park we step into a wonderful stay close to nature. That night we spent at Jupuri ghar<\/a> resort in Kaziranga. It a very beautiful and homely resort run by Assam Tourism.<\/p>\n

Next day we get up early and rush to the elephant safari point at Bagori around 6 am. \u00a0After few minutes in between mild fog , we find ourself in an elephant back inside the\u00a0dense jungle of Kaziranga National Park. \u00a0The sight was truly amazing! There were innumerable rhinoceros for and yes, parrots, Hog deer, buffalos. We even spotted a baby rhino gently following his mother amidst the tall elephant grasses. However, we were unable to catch a view of any tiger, but overall it was a refreshing early morning experience. The chirping birds, the forest crisscrossed with rivers and the sight of plenty of wild animals made the start of our day quite memorable.<\/p>\n

Rich flora and fauna in the Kaziranga orchid park <\/strong><\/h3>\n

After finishing the elephant safari, we headed to the orchid park<\/strong>. It is a botanical garden with a variety of orchid and other variety of flowers. Although the park is only a few years old, we found the park with some of the most colourful blooming flowers.<\/p>\n

There is even a dedicated play area for children and boating facilities. We got a chance to gorge on the delectable authentic Assamese food at the park. We even enjoyed the traditional dance that we watched at the open theater within the park. With the park located in a picturesque location, the rich flora and fauna made it a heaven for the nature lovers.<\/p>\n

Finally, we concluded our memorable journey by catching a jeep safari<\/strong> in the afternoon in the central range of Kaziranga National Park to witness more wild animals closely. Yes that was amazing. We enjoyed vivid flora and fauna of Kaziranga National Park very closely . Have a\u00a0glimpse of lots of wild animals and birds\u00a0and large water birds called pelicans too. As the evening sun set we call it a memorable day and back to our resort for a refreshing night sleep.<\/p>\n

\u00a0We then geared up our travel to the next destination – Jorhat. So stay glued to our next story!<\/p>\n
